High-End Asphere Design for Manufacturability

Edmund Optics' asphere experts discuss the benefits of using aspheres in optical system design and the factors that need to be taken into account during the design process.

Master asphere design to improve manufacturability, performance, and cost!

Join us for a complimentary 30 minute webinar presented by Edmund Optics' own asphere experts Amy Frantz and Oleg Leonov to learn the benefits of using aspheres in optical system design and what factors that need be taken into account during the design process. These key manufacturability considerations will significantly reduce asphere lead time and cost if considered early enough in the design process. This webinar will be moderated by Lars Sandström, Precision Optics Senior Business Line Manager for Edmund Optics.

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will have a strong understanding around:

  • Benefits of using aspheres in optical system design
  • Challenges of asphere manufacturing
  • Key factors of manufacturable aspheres
